The Chalfonte is Cape Mays oldest Victorian Hotel in continuous operation since 1876, Three blocks from the beach, it is traditinal summer hotel, and open seasonally from Memorial Day to Columbus Day. The Chalfonte has 70 guest rooms, 10 with private baths. Rooms are comfortably cooled with ceiling fans and ocean breezes. No televisions or telephones in rooms add to our guests vacation, as do our rocking chairs and veranda. The Chalfont features Southern style cusine for Breakfast and Dinner in the Magnolia room and a separate dinning room for our guests 6 and under. Cultural events and entertaiment nightly.
